Prior to co-founding VCE, Alon held several leading positions at the Tahal Group, a leading global provider of sustainable infrastructure development projects in developing countries. Alon headed the Group’s International Division, where he was responsible for most of its subsidiaries worldwide, and led its business development and operations, primarily in Southeast Asia and India, Africa, Eastern Europe and the Balkans. In addition, Alon served as CEO of Tahal Group Assets, where he managed concession-based companies that included water and wastewater treatment installations, waste management and landfills, and municipal water and wastewater networks. Prior to that, Alon served in a number of managerial positions at the Baran Group, a global provider of engineering, technology and construction services. His roles included CEO and VP Finance for Baran America and Baran Telecom USA, and VP for Project Finance for the Group. Alon also served as CEO of the Ukrainian subsidiary of A. Dori, a prominent Israeli real estate company. Before that, Alon practiced law at one of Israel’s leading law firms, and worked with KPMG in Budapest.
